In the video above we look at whether your foundational chakra needs got met from age 4 to age 7 and do some healing work with your inner child.
Don’t underestimate the value of working with your inner child. It seems so simple, but can be life-changing.
When we’re little, we’re like little sponges taking in the beliefs, feelings and energies of everyone around us — especially the heightened ones.
And we come into this world with lots of needs. Some of them are as basic as food and shelter. And others are more complex, like our need to be significant or to express ourselves authentically.
Because we come into the world needy, we have to adapt to our surroundings and the things our caregivers and family members want from us. And all this adapting causes us to shut down certain aspects of ourselves — the parts we believe others won’t approve of.
The good news is, if we are patient and loving towards ourselves — and the little child that lives within us — we can open these shut-down areas and claim more of our innate, unlimited self.
In this week’s (Part 2) video, we walk through the foundational development of each chakra at these ages:
Age 4 – Heart Chakra
Age 5 – Throat Chakra
Age 6 – Third Eye Chakra
Age 7 – Crown Chakra
You might want to get a piece of paper, because I ask a lot of questions for each age.
And answering them can be eye-opening.
