It’s hard for me to believe that it’s been 12 years since I created my Chakra Boosters Healing Tattoos. I got the “crazy” idea one full Jupiter cycle ago.
After learning about the research of Dr. Masaru Emoto, I thought putting a root chakra symbol on the lowest part of my back might ground me. And boy did it ever! As soon as the tattoo artist put the stencil design on my lower back, energy rushed down both my legs – and tears gushed. I felt connected to the earth for the first time in my life! And my anxiety disappeared.
It was such a huge gift. I felt I HAD to share it. And that’s when I got the idea to create temporary chakra tattoos (with a little inspiration from my guides). Temporary tattoos would enable others to experience the same kind of healing I had, only without the permanency or pain of a real tattoo.
Cut to the present and my tattoos are now almost in their teens! And it feels sort of nostalgic — and long overdue — to dedicate an episode of Chakra Talk to them.
